Personally, I prefer to use Excel to create forms. It's much easier to align fields and make the ends of horizontal lines "match up". It's also easy to prevent users from editing anything other than the fields you want them to complete.
The latest version of Microsoft Office, 2007, isn't entirely backwards compatible with older versions of Office. Files created in 2007 cannot be opened in earlier versions of Office unless you download a Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack (MOCP).
In Office 2007, you can access Recent Documents by clicking the Office button. But did you know you can keep frequently used files there all the time?
