Free Online Booking Services

For service providers, medical professionals, hair salons, restaurants, and more, there are a number of websites that offer free online booking services.

These services allow you to place a link on your website. Visitors to your website click the link, and are taken to the free online booking service website, where they can book an appointment with you and/or your business.

HourTown.com handles both your personal and work schedules. You can designate certain blocks of time as available. You'll receive an email notification of appointment requests, and you can then either confirm or deny such requests. HourTown has several levels of membership. The freebie level allows up to two appointments per month. It also provides a customer contact book.

With GenBook.com, you and your client receive notification of appointments. You don't have the option to confirm or deny appointment requests. But it's free account offers an unlimited number of appointments, and you can use it to manage other staff members' appointments. All appointments can be requested up to six weeks in advance. You can also require credit card numbers for appointments, allowing you to charge for cancellations.

Finally, BookingAngel.com currently serves only restaurants. But it has plans to expand to contractors, spas, medical professionals, and other appointment-based industries. Instead of a monthly fee, BookingAngel charges a small fee for each confirmed reservation (fees start at $1).
