Generate Printable Versions of Web Pages

Although many web sites offer a link to a printer-friendly version, there are still tons of sites that pay no attention to the drastic difference between their screen and printout appearances. Here's a nifty little website that solves this problem for free.

The home page of PrintFriendly.com has a big box into which you either type or copy/paste the web address of a page you want to print. Hit enter to generate a print preview of your page. PrintFriendly.com removes ads, navigation, and all the junk you don't want. You can choose to remove images as well. On the print preview page, you can click a button to generate a PDF copy of the web page, which you can then save to your computer if you like.

If you think you'll be using this website frequently, you might want to add the "Print Friendly" button to your web browser. If you have a website, you can also add a Print Friendly button to your site.
