Stop Forgetting Email Attachments
Thankfully, I'm not the only one who forgets to attach files to email messages. As a result, there are several methods available to avoid this embarrassing snafu.
If you're using Outlook 2007 and Windows Vista, you can simply download the Forgotten Attachment Detector from Microsoft Office Labs. This handy little program can be found on the Office Labs website.
For those of you who are using Windows XP and Outlook 2007, there's a different program for you. Download it for free from the Fortis Software website.
If you're using an earlier version of Outlook, you can use a macro to achieve the same thing. This approach was created by Mark Bird. Details on this procedure can be found on the developer's website.
And finally, if you're using Google mail or Gmail, you can turn on a similar feature in Google labs. More details can be found on Google's Official Blog.
