Politely Decline Unwanted Email Messages or Habits

Here are two sites that you can use to politely ask Uncle Bubba or Aunt Jessie to stop forwarding those emails about Canola oil to you. Or ask them to use the BCC field to keep everyone's email private.

For the first problem, just send them a link to ThanksNo.com. This site politely explains why you'd prefer not to be on their urban legend forwarding list. It even features a polite sample email that you can send to them.

If you're tired of having your email address revealed to far too many people by someone who doesn't know how to use the BCC field, send the offending person a link to BCCplease.com. The site politely explains why they should use the BCC field, and how to do it on both a PC and a Mac.
