Best Way to Install Windows Vista

Do you have a computer running Windows XP that you want to upgrade to Windows Vista? Read this article first.

Based on our reading in various computer magazines and online newsletters, as well as discussions with other computer users, doing an upgrade from XP to Vista is often fraught with problems. Therefore, we recommend that you do a clean install instead. Not only will this eliminate the possibility of problems commonly encountered during an upgrade, but it will clean all those junk files and programs off your computer.

It's a big project, and it can be stressful – even painful. But if you opt for a Vista upgrade instead, and then have tons of problems, you'll wish you had done the clean install. It's up to you to decide whether you're in a gambling mood.
