Computer Running Slow?

There are several easy and simple ways to possibly fix this problem.

The first may be that you have not defragmented your hard drive in a long time. Failing to defrag your hard drive on a regular basis results in files and folders contained within your hard drive basically becoming very jumbled and hard for Windows to retrieve, causing your computer to run quite slowly. Defragmenting a hard drive can take up a great deal of time, but doing so will keep your computer running smoothly.

The steps for defragmenting your hard drive with Windows XP are as follows:

1. Start 2. Programs 3. Accessories 4. System Tools 5. Defragmenter
