Subdue Those Windows!

There are keyboard shortcuts that can help you manage all those windows you've somehow managed to open. For those times when you need to get to your desktop quickly, simultaneously press the Windows logo button in the lower left corner of your keyboard and the letter D. This will minimize all open windows and reveal your desktop.

The Windows logo button and the letter M does the same thing. Windows Logo Button + Shift + M restores all the windows you just minimized.

To close the currently active window only, press ALT F4. ALT + Shift + F4 closes all open windows. To switch back and forth between the current window and the last one you viewed, use ALT + Tab.
