Pulling Your Hair Out Over a Microsoft Application?

Did you know there's a handy discussion forum Microsoft has on its website? It's called the Microsoft Communities, and it's a godsend for those of us trying to squeeze more out of our MS Office applications.

There's a community for each application in office: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as other Microsoft programs. You can search the community for an answer to a specific problem you're having. If you can't find the answer that way, just post your question. Usually you get an answer back in 24 hours or less.

I have used the Microsoft Communities on many, many occasions especially when I was doing heavy Access database programming at Vanguard Bank. I have always found a solution to the problem. It might not have been the exact solution I was looking for, but it still solved the problem. So the next time you get stymied, visit the Microsoft Communities website at http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the results.
